The Riders Give Back!

Local Rum River Riders and Outdoor Edge BMX Race Team members
have applied for and received a YARN (Youth Are Resources) grant.
With this grant it is their intention to build the new starting hill
platform
and a finish line scoring stand for the track! The construction plans
will
be shared this Wednesday night, the 13th of Feb. at our track
improvement committee meeting.
The team and the local youth riders invite all members of our BMX
community to help "give back" to our track by lending a hand with
the building this spring.
It is extremely exciting to see our riders develop not only good
physical
skills but good citizenship as well, we are truly building a stronger
future
one pedal at a time. Stay tuned for more information on the building
process which will take place this spring.
