NBL'S BMX SPRING BREAK TO TAKE OVER THE SUN****NE STATE
Its Spring Break in Florida and everyone knows what that means
- Back-to-Back NBL National weekends at two of Florida’s finest tracks.
The festivities kick off March 14-16 in West Palm Beach at Okeeheelee
BMX for the Gator Nationals and then things get even hotter in the
Sun****ne State when the NBL National Series heads up north to the
Orlando BMX track for the Easter Classic, March 21-23.
The Gator Nationals will beheld at the awesome Okeeheelee BMX
Track n West Palm Beach ( www.okeeheeleebmx.com ), and features
two War-Of-The-Stars Pro events and the last two UCI Continental Series
races of the season. This means that all of the US Olympic hopefuls and
many of the top male and female stars from around the world will be in
attendance.
That’s three Pro Events in one weekend and with Olympic qualifying
points on the line, the Gator Nationals will be epic. “Okeeheelee is one
of my favorite tracks in the country and I’ve been looking forward to
his race! – You gotta love that red clay and the track always has great
flow” said NBL reigning National Champion, Kyle Bennett.
The Gator National schedule is jam-packed full of activities and
contests
for the whole family including a Friday Night Pennant race, the Intense
Build-A-Bike Contest, the BAWLS Bunnyhop Challenge, UGP Open Series,
a Pro Autograph Session, and tons of prize draws.
NBL events continue to attract national media attention and once again,
USA Today Live will be on-site filming for their upcoming show “Gotta
Get
Gold”. CBC TV from Canada will be shooting footage for their upcoming
“Samantha Cools” Olympic feature and handful of national s****t’s writers
and local media will be buzzing about.
A short 3-hour drive north to central Florida takes you to Orlando BMX
( www.orlandobmx.com ) and the NBL’s annual Easter Classic, held March
21-23. A fun-filled weekend awaits with two days of national race action
and plenty more fun for the family. It’s no secret that sun-baked
Orlando
is a mecca for family entertainment with their endless theme and
amusement parks.
The Orlando BMX track has their own thrilling attraction this year – an
exciting jump-filled, roller-coaster style track that will keep everyone
rockin’ and rollin’. Expect another great weekend of national racing to
complete the ’08 NBL Spring Break.
