Mr. Ed Dolan reveals his poor judgment if he thinks I am envious of

Hard labor as a means of survival builds character. The decline of the 
US is directly attributable to the "baby boom" parental generation 
spoiling their children. The worst were the hippies, as they were 
spoiled middle class  brats acting out, and later became part of the 
"me" generation. Those born to the working cl***** were not hippies, but 
were sweltering away in SE Asia or working in factories and other blue 
collar jobs.
