Regardless of what you've been told by someone whose beer credentials
are limited to the state they reside in, Killian Irish Red is nothing
special.  I'm sure Tom can second that.  As for whine, I never liked
rose.  I drink a white on occasion, but much prefer reds.  I regularly
drink Yellow Tail ****raz which is not expensive and a good bang for
the buck and favorite of mine.  As concerns beer, on hot days, I find
Tyskie (Polish) a good "session" beer, but have Goose Island Honkers
Ale (local microbrewb) and Pilsner Urquell (Czech) in my fridge, two
of my favorites, but there are many a quality craft brewed beer and
Tom Sherman has already listed some. Another favorite of is Krusovice
(Czech).  I also enjoy real hootch (hard stuff) like whiskey (bourbon
& Canadian), gin and rum, but you didn't ask for favorites in those
categories.
