I think if Lance wins the Giro and some more of the classics, that will go
a
long way in giving him some class, regardless of the UCI ranking in my
book.
Retiring on just the TDF seems like a one sided career, but its still very
impressive. Add the other tours and a few more wins of the big classics
and
he will really be someone the in annuls of cycling history. Right now I
still look at him as a TDF wondeboy who has it down to a science, but I am
waiting for Paris-R, Giro, Vuelta, throw in a couple other classics.
