Alas, not quite. They are closer together than they used to be.

There are some new connections through White Plains that take the path
down to the river earlier - you don't have to sneak across six lanes
of scary traffic anymore.

From White Plains to Hartsdale, much of the path has been fixed up.
That low bridge is still low, though they might have fixed the flooding.

The path ends at the tennis courts, just north of the Hartsdale station.
You can find your way to Pipeline Road on the west side of the Parkway,
look for a little bridge in the woods on your left that crosses over
the river, take that and then the path to the south. It's narrow
here, you may need to walk the bike. If you miss this turnoff, you'll
be rudely reminded a few minutes later when you hit the end of Pipeline
Road and accidentally end up on the southbound Parkway.

The little path goes under the Parkway and then hooks up to the rebuilt
BRP path. There's another entrance onto this path a little further
south (I think on Garth behind the Scarsdale train station), but if
you do it this way you can see the entire new path without backtracking.
The new section runs approximately from Crane Road to Harney. It has
another low bridge or two, is very narrow in spots, but you pass some
nice waterfalls that you otherwise can't see unless it's Bicycle Sunday.

Forgot to mention, the BRP path from Kensico Dam to North White Plains
has been repaved, it had been pretty bumpy in spots.
