Do you know if Pipeline Road and "Aquaduct Road" are the same? When I
mapquested Pipeline, it brought me to Aquaduct.
I rode the Bronx River Bokeway from Valhalla to Bronxville today and was
really impressed by the improvements. Now I'd like to update my site, but
I
need to be able to provide specifc directions for people. I found myself
faking it most of the time today, but I found the new section right after
the Westchester County Center parking lot and the section in Scarsdale.
The
only thing is, I only saw the Scarsdale section after I had already missed
it. So I went back north on it, kept going after the pavement ended, and
finally ran into two women who had just crossed the bridge from what they
called Pipeline Road. I started to ride north on Pipeline, but was soon
almost swept off the road by a pickup truck going way too fast. I decided
then and there that I was in more of a "traffic-free" mood, so I turned
around and went back to the path.
The merchants of Scarsdale must be pissed to the gills that they diverted
all of us potential customers away from the downtown. I used to always
stop
for lunch in Scarsdale. If I was with a group, we'd also do drinks and,
sometimes, dessert. Today, I ended up getting a sandwich in Bronxville!
Anyway, if you could get back to me about Aquaduct/Pipeline Road, I'd
appreciate it. Can I credit you on the site for this new info?
