The NY Taxi Workers Alliance has announced this one day job action.
If this bunch of surly lowlifes ever wants to get support from the general
public, they will first have to:
PULL ALL THE WAY OVER TO THE CURB when picking up and discharging
passengers.
YIELD TO PEDESTRIANS and other motorists as the traffic laws require.
STAY WITHIN THE SPEED LIMIT.
NOT RUN RED LIGHTS.
NEVER CUT OFF ANOTHER VEHICLE.
TREAT PEOPLE WITH COURTESY AND RESPECT, just as they wish to be treated.
What a joy Manhattan streets will be without thousands of cabs congesting
them on October 22!
MAKE THE STRIKE PERMANENT!
