What you are now doing in Florida would not have worked very well in
weather
challenged Massachusetts, now would it? If I were you I would not crow
about riding a bike without a helmet. It just marks you as stupid! Dick
Ryan, meet Peter Clinch!

But does not the sun shine there in Florida? If you are hairless topside,
do
you not need to protect your bald pate from the sun? Hells Bells, you have

to wear something on your head, so it might as well be a bike helmet. But
I
prefer a horse riding helmet. These do not work on uprights because they
have a bill which prevents forward vision, but they work perfectly on a
recumbent provided you are seated more or less semi-recumbent.

The Dutch are some of the most stubborn folks in the world. To read a
history of that people will tell you all you will ever have to know about
them. I consider them to be poor pitiful crazy bastards who simply don't
know any better. The Spanish should have exterminated them when they had
the
chance some centuries ago.

One other thing ... the fact that old Harry of Lincoln, Nebraska agrees
with
you ought to give you pause. He is a world class dumbbell and one of the
most ignorant slobs that has ever existed on this earth. If I found that
he
ever agreed with me about anything I would run for the hills.
