I think it was in August 1994. TA organized it. We started in Washington
Park, went up Park Avenue, across 34th St, then up 6th Avenue to Central
Park. There were 13 or 16 of us. (My memory is getting fuzzy.) Danny was
one. We managed to only allow one car past us for the entire way! That was
on Park Avenue. Going up 6th Ave we worked really hard to stay in a line
across the avenue and succeeded in not letting any cars past. No cops
present, obviously.
