There was a pair of lightly-used 27x1-1/4 Vredestein tyres on the 1984
Dawes Super Galaxy that I just bought. While they might be a bit dried
out for riding, they could just be the perfect detail for that old
tourer you've just restored. Ones of the sidewalls has a grease mark,
which would probably clean off.
They're complete with tubes (Presta), which are unpatched and as close
to new as 21 year old tubes can be. Free to a good home.
