Toronto October Bike Show -- getting a new bike

I just recently heard about the Bike show that will be on the CNE grounds
on
Oct 15.

Any one been in recent years?

I am looking for a bike, about $300, what are my chances of finding
something better priced than at local bikes shops?

Is it worth the 4 hr drive to Toronto?
