10 people arrested for bicycle theft in Ottawa.

According to the Ottawa Citizen, police recently set up
a sting operation which led to the arrest of 10 individuals
for bicycle theft. They used "bait" bicycles in a downtown
area of Ottawa where a high number of bikes have been stolen.
The police made the arrest over a two day period. A local
based group known as Ottawa-Citizens for Safe Cycling
estimates that close to 2000 bikes were stolen in 2003,
the last years for which had numbers.
