Dear Andrew
The traffic was absolutely horrendous. You take your life in your hands on
the road. The locals tell me that drivers simply have no concern for
pedestrians or cyclists. There were only a few cyclists on the roads. I
found a route across a golf course - for about 100 yards which brought us
into a large developing area with few vehicles. We were able to do about
20
to 30 kms. per day at a leisurely pace.
We had no problems with customs at all.
