bottom bracket

by Dallas <dbc25@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jun 25, 2005 at 11:15 AM

What would make your new bottom bracket and cup assembly come loose?
Granted it's a fixed gear bicycle (Bianchi) and apparently, the bottom
bracket is a good quality one (as told/sold by shop) But it came loose
enough to visually notice, but not "feel". Went in, and sure enough,
I'd eyeballed it correctly. It was loose. Can't figure what would
cause it, and the shop offered no explanation other than the original
installer didn't "batten it down enough".
