Kona's designers noticed the meme and talked with local owners of
Xtracycles. It's a bicycle company that seems to have its ear to the
ground when it comes to what's happening on the street.

(witness their selling a "beater" bike, with fenders, or a
triangulated "chopper" right off the hook next to their s****t bikes)
