You make a very im****tant point regarding his disorder. There is no
real medication treatment for it. Mostly it requires much
psychotherapy and almost all individuals needed to be confronted to
start...requiring vast efforts by family who are often so fed up with
the behavior that the effort is never made. This would appear to be
the common element with Mike. There just isn't anyone except his
internet community. Most likely only a long term inpatient stay with
therapy and a mild medication for anxiety would maybe benefit...the
older the individual. the harder to correct. It is also common for
those individuals to have early onsets of dementia and alz. which may
just be the case. Maybe Mike can't remember the statements he makes
and then reverses them later. There is definitely something amiss.
