Made it to the parade- maybe a dozen there? It was fun, interesting.
First challenge I had was speed, because when the parade started, for
the longest it just wasn't up to a walking pace even, and riding in big
ovals is a challenge for me. Then about halfway through, the pedal
stripped out of the crank arm on the right side, which ended my
parading.
Mark had a minor skinned knee out of the parade, but interesting thing
is, that's the first time he's ever done that. I've skinned up both
knees at two different times, and wore knee pads for a good while,
too.
I'll be checking into Torker LX warranties here in the next day or so.
Also, they do sell steel crank arms, and I may switch to them, although
I'd have to drop back to a 4.5" right now.
It was really fun and informative meeting everyone- look forward to
riding with y'all at some other time.
