I think the skinned knee was from the pavement.  I've done that a couple
of times myself (and also skinned my palms a time or two), but that was
actually a first for Mark.

See the "Torker LX Cranks" post for an update on the problem I had.

By the way, I don't know to what extent people are interested in doing
stuff like this, but Garland has a Labor Day parade and Christmas
parade- don't know what other places do as well.  The Labor Day parade
is pretty long, not too many floats, but lots of marching bands.  The
Christmas Parade is usually short and sweet, after dark.
