The three bridges (south to north: Cross County Pkwy, Yonkers Av, Saw Mill
River Rd) have been paved.
The only orange netting blocking the trail is at a work site where the
trail crosses Tibbets Brook south of Tibbets Brook Park (Alan Shepard Pl &
Harrison Av). The rudimentary plank bridge is still in place, probably so
workers can cross the brook, and the condition of the netting suggests
everyone ignores it.
If the plank bridge is removed before then new bridge is useable, there's
an easy workaround: Harrison Av NORTH .2mi; Jervis Rd EAST .1mi; enter
Tibbets Brook Park through the gate at Sedgwick Av; about .2mi NORTH on
the paved path; WEST on the paved path across footbridge; and look for a
convenient spot (two have been paved) to rejoin the trail.
Same right-of-way: further north, in Mahopac, the trail no longer dumps
onto US6 .2mi south of Croton Falls Rd. The trail now continues to Croton
Falls Rd, about .1mi east of US6.
